Returns:

I want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not, please do not hesitate to contact me. Returns or exchanges are accepted if the item is in it's original, unused condition. The item must be re-sellable. Returns or exchanges must be arranged within one week of receiving the package. The buyer must pay all shipping costs.

Shipping:

Orders will ship the following business day and a shipping notification will be sent by email.

Grey Drizzle Fibers cannot be responsible for packages after they enter the postal system. Priority Mail offers some insurance coverage. If you would like to add additional insurance to your package, please contact me and a PayPal bill can be sent for the added cost. If an insured order goes missing while in transit, I will contact USPS to resolve the issue and process the insurance claim as quickly as possible. 

International Orders:

The customer is responsible for any taxes or duty charges.

I do not refund for lost, unclaimed or undeliverable packages. If your package is returned to me as unclaimed/undeliverable, you are responsible for any additional postage fees to ship again. The other option is a refund for the items only.

Shipping Rates:

US Shipping-

Most packages ship with USPS. Up to 12 oz is $5.50, 12 to 16 oz is $9, and over a lb is $10.50.

Local curbside pickup-

I live next to Lake Youngs in Renton, WA. If you would like to pick up, choose that option at checkout and I will send pick up information when your order is ready to go.

International orders-

Orders 4 lb and under will ship USPS First Class International and packages over 4 lb will ship USPS Priority International. Shipping prices shown in the cart are rough estimates and destinations outside of Canada will likely receive a partial refund to adjust the shipping to actual cost. If you would like me to contact you with the exact shipping amount before sending the order, leave a comment in the order or send me an email.

Color Accuracy:

Be aware that color can vary from monitor to monitor. I do my best to accurately capture the color with pictures but some variance is unavoidable.

Dye Lots:

Hand-dyed yarn is unique and no two skeins are exactly alike. I will visually match as much as possible for orders containing more than one skein of the same color. However, I always recommend alternating rows when working with hand-dyed yarn.

Custom Orders:

I am open to custom orders. Contact me and let me know what you are looking for and I can give you an estimate on price and time frame. I can do larger batches or tweak colors if you would like. View bases here and colorways here.

Allergy Information:

I have three dogs. The dogs sometimes sleep by my desk while I work on prepping yarn and Charlie and Dinah sometimes joins me in the dye studio on their couch. They are not allowed to touch the yarn but the dogs are occasionally in the same room with it. I use professional acid dyes with citric acid and wash all my yarn and fiber in Grapefruit Eucalan after dyeing.
